Reception Wheelie Day

As part of our transport topic, Reception children have very much enjoyed the different activities we have had over this term. Last week, children took part in 'Wheelie Day'. The children all brought in their bikes or scooters to the school playground and completed an obstacle course. They practised braking and steering along a route. As part of the national Road safety week we had a walk of our local area and practised crossing several roads and the cycle path. We made maps of our route.
