Phonics Meetings for Parents of Children in Reception and Y1

This week we held Phonics meetings for families of children in Reception and Year 1. The aims of the meetings were:

To support your understanding of phonics
To share some of the terminology and teaching practices of the Essential Letters and Sounds scheme that we use with the children
For you to feel empowered to help your child with their reading and spelling at home
