Lord Mayor visits St. Andrew's competition winner

On Friday 12th May we had a special visitor to St. Andrew's. We recently received the the good news that one of our pupils, Neisha, had won the Manchester Sensory Support Service World Book Day competition, which was judged by the Lord Mayor of Manchester. All of the deaf children within MSSS were encouraged to participate in the competition. The theme of this year's competition was to write an acrostic poem about Manchester and prizes are awarded by Key Stage from 1-4. Neisha won the Key Stage 2 category.

The Lord Mayor presented Neisha with her prize and spoke to children in years 3 and 5.
