International Women's Day

This week in school we are celebrating International Women's Day, which is on Wednesday 8th March. Each year group will think about a certain theme, for example Women in Sport or Women in Music. 

Our PTA have provided some fundign for each class to hold a competition in connection with International Women's Day - more information to come soon!

On Tuesday 7th March we welcomed Lois, an ex-pupil who plays football for Manchester City U21s and England U19s. Lois answered questions from children in a special assembly and spoke about how determination and hard work is an essential part of being successful. It was inspirational for the children to see someone from our school who is going on to do great things! We wish her all the best for the future.
